API integration with n8n

With innoGPT, you can use n8n in full compliance with the GDPR.

Since the innoGPT API is OpenAI-compatible, it works directly in n8n’s OpenAI node:

1. In n8n: Create a new credential for OpenAI

2. Enter your innoGPT key (sk_live_...) in the API Key field

3. For Base URL: https://app.innogpt.de/api/ext/v1

4. Save

5. Use the OpenAI node in the workflow as usual

This allows you to:

• innoGPT -Invoke assistants from n8n workflows

• innoGPT Use it as an AI brain for n8n agent nodes

• Have the model call tools from your n8n workflow via function calling

💡 Tip for complex agent workflows: If multiple tools are active simultaneously in an n8n agent node, test with GPT models—they currently offer the most stable tool handling.
